Waterside Walks in Sussex

Many people like the interest and variety of walking beside water, and Sussex is particularly fortunate in having so many waterways to explore.  The 20 circular routes in this book are all between 3 - 7½ miles in length.

Walks include the rivers Rother, Arun, Ouse, Adur and Cuckmere; the canals of the Wey and Arun Junction and the Royal Military; and the reservoirs of Barcombe, Ardingly, Arlington and Bewl Bridge, as well as the coastline from Chichester to Rye.  

There are separate sections with each walk on attractions nearby such as Fishbourne Roman Palace, Arundel Castle, Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum and the Lavender Line steam railway.
